How to Apply

 

Submit your original signature recipe in the category of either first course, entrée, or dessert postmarked by Friday, June 8, 2018

  • The entry form is located at the right of this page or email abeer@eyecandyfamily.com for a copy
  • You may enter one (1) recipe per category for a TOTAL of 3
  • It is required that your recipe features one of the main ingredients from the list of PA products.
  • To be considered all recipes must be submitted to Events by Eye Candy at abeer@eyecandyfamily.com or by mail at P.O. Box 442 Mechanicsburg, PA 17055 postmarked by Friday, June 8th, 2018
  • Please note: If you are entering as a team, please put the name and contact information for the team lead.
How does it work?
  • You’re the Executive Chef. We’ll team you up with a Sous Chef (HACC Culinary Student) to prepare the selected dish.
  • A meeting will be arranged with you to meet your team and implement a plan for the event.
  • You and your team prepare 300 bite-sized samples of your dish.
  • We provide the food, you provide your creativity and raise money our two selected charities New Hope Ministries and The Peyton Walker Foundation

THEN…….

Fundraise individually or choose your fundraising team. You and your team can work together to raise funds for Peyton Walker Foundation and New Hope Ministries. Fundraising counts for 25% of your score!!! Minimum required is $250

Choose any of the following PA Products as your main ingredient:

What If I am selected?
  • If you are one of the 12 recipes submitted that are selected you will get an opportunity to participate in Homemade Superchef
  • The competition is judged on several different criteria: People’s Choice 50%, Celebrity Judges 25%, and Fundraising 25%.
  • If selected there is a $250 required fundraising fee that will go towards your fundraising total. This fee will be due no later than Friday, August 31st however you can continue to raise funds to be turned in by September 9th.
  • The more you raise the better your chance to win in the fundraising category.

 

 

What will I win?

Winner will receive:

  • You and/or your team will appear on billboards throughout Central PA

  • Title of Homemade by SuperChef

  • $100 Visa Gift Card

  • Bragging Rights

  • Two VIP tickets to 2019 Central PA Superchef competition
